Jenna Fischer's best-known role was as Pam Beesly from the popular TV show The Office. In recognition of her performance, she won the Emmy award for Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role and received two SAG Awards.
Her birthplace and childhood was within Fort Wayne in Indiana. Jenna's mother Anne often performed in church dramas in her younger years, and this instilled an enthusiasm for theatre.
She's a trained actress who was back in theater following The Office. The actress starred alongside Josh Hamilton Leslie Bibb Fred Weller in Neil LaBute's Off Broadway production Reasons to be Happy. At the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, She starred opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's hilarious comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office star Angela Kinsey's closest friend from real life and Fischer started with the Office Ladies podcast, on Earwolf on October, 2019. The show quickly gained popularity. Every week it ranked in the Top Ten in global downloads and had more than 200 million downloads in its first couple years. Office Ladies received the iHeart Radio Podcast of the Year award in the month of January in 2021.
She has written two books, The Actor's Life, a Survival Guide where she outlines her path to Hollywood as an actor in the field as well as Office BFF's, Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends who were There, which is a story of the greatest friendships they enjoyed and their experiences in The Office.
